Picture updates!

Ok. I know I'm such a procrastinator.
Finally, here's pictures of Kate and her Godpa, and the meet & greet with Yogi bear!

Doesn't Mark look so awkward with her? Funny guy. Anyways! He and his galfriend bought this really cute pink keyboard for her... Comes with a mic and all, so noisy la! Haha. But she loves it and that's all that matters. She's really very blessed. She got this educational 'talking' pen from my mom and sis-in-law, the keyboard, a huge drawing board and book from dear Immanuel and a tricycle from my parents. We bought her a doll with bath acessories for her too! But anyway, she's got way too many stuff! And I really gotta either sell or give some away! I'm trying real hard not to give away things that has sentimental value, but seriously too much stuff. And because there is so much, its a huge mess and she hardly sees some of it. (Since its either packed up/messy/she older now so less interested) So please please please don't be offended if I give away something that any of you gave her. Thats where scrappng is great because I can take pics and scrap about it! Ahhh! Scrapping. Been in a scrapping fenzy lately. Anyway, here's the meet and greet pics!

"Where's the Line to See Jesus?"

I heard my daddy play this song today...And I thought that it is so true. Now, everything is so commercialised. Even Christmas. So many of us go to pubs and clubs to drink on Christmas and get wasted. Even those who believe in HIM but not go to church, like myself. Yes, the true meaning of Christmas lies not in the presents, or parties or malls. Let it not be lost...

The story behind the song, as told by Steve Haupt:
"While at the mall last year, my 4 year old grandson saw kids lined up excitedly to see Santa Claus. Having been taught as a toddler that Christmas is the holiday that Christians celebrate the birth of God's son, with the innocence of a child, he asked his mom, "where's the line to see Jesus"? If Christmas is Jesus' birthday, why don't we see Him more? As his grandpa, I was so happy that little Spencer understood the meaning of Christmas at such a tender age, and then the words for a song were jotted down in just a few minutes. The song was inspired by my grandson, and the message was inspired by my Savior. Out of the mouths of babies come profound truths that many adults can not understand. Hopefully Spencer's observation and our song will cause people to reflect on the love of Jesus, and the certainty that one day we will all stand in line to see Jesus. Merry Christmas everyone."

Lyrics...

Christmas time was approaching
Snow was starting to fall
Shoppers choosing their presents
People filling the mall
Children waiting for Santa
With excitement and glee
A little boy tugged my sweater
Looked up and asked me,
[chorus:]
"Where's the line to see Jesus?
Is He here at the store?
If Christmas time is His birthday,
Why don't we see Him more?
Where's the line to see Jesus?
He was born for me.
Santa Clause brought me presents,
But Christ gave His life for Me."

As I stood in amazement

At this message profound
I looked down to thank him
He was no where around.
A little boy at he mall
Might as well had had wings
As the tears filled my eyes
I thought I heard him sing:
[chorus:]
"Where's the line to see Jesus?
Is He here at the store?
If Christmas time is His birthday,
Why don't we see Him more?
Where's the line to see Jesus?
He was born for me.
Santa Clause brought me presents,
But Christ gave His life for me."
In the blink of an eye,
At the sound of His trumpet,
We'll all stand in line at His throne.
Every knee shall bow down.
Every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
[chorus:]
Where's the line to see Jesus?
Is He here at the store?
If Christmas time is His birthday,
Why don't we see Him more?
Where's the line to see Jesus?
He was born for me.
Santa Clause brought me presents,
But Christ gave His life for me.

Isn't it amazing? That a little boy inspired this meaningful song.
But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." Matthew 19:14

Kate in a box!

I know I'm supposed to post some other pics but its still not in my com...heh! Had a seriously rotten day but well...not gonna dwell on that and move on to happier stuff!

My parents bought me a table for my craft work. *loves* But....never mind, next post will explain more. For now, pics of Kate playing in the box!

This little gal is a real terror. I think my neighbours are gonna call the child services on me --- everyday Kate throws at least two huge tantrums and she can go on screaming and crying for a good ten minutes. Ten minutes just feels soooo l.o.n.g.

I did another 3 layouts... I think I got to practice more! I still can't acheive the look I like. But its a good way to declutter. I bought way too much paper before, so I've been trying to work with the old ones first. The first layout, I think I gotta change the background paper. The white seems too....white. I also altered a spoilt photo frame! I love this frame, gonna get some small cork board so I can paste on the front and stick my to-do list there.

I seriously need a new album. The existing one has no more space left! And all my pop-outs on the layouts are all flattened. 0_0

Went drinking with hubs and friends. Went over to visit debs and I seriously had a blast of a time! It's been so long since I went out with hubs. I signed up for my December class and I am so happy to get the last and only place in the class I wanted! The class schedule came out only a day and classes are already full! Was hoping to get debs to join me, maybe can get into waiting list heh heh! My new class is in turquoise and beige which looks really yummy! Even though I love pink...

Kate's 2 year old party!

Kate had a smashing good time at her birthday chalet. She went swimming (always bugging us to go), had quality time with both familes, ate ice-cream cake (a combination of both her favorite foods), went to an indoor playground with her favorite Uncle Immanuel (free tickets courtesy of Costa sands) and was always being entertained by family and close family friends!

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...Kate and Immanuel really wore my sis-in-law and me out at the indoor playground. We were chasing after them, running, dodging, climbing and crawling! Couldn't take any pictures in all the mayhem til we put them in a little ball area, but will post a video on facebook soon. =)
Explorer kids at Downtown east is fun!

**A pity the shot she took with all her grandparents were blurry! Poor gal just couldn't understand why we kept taking photo after photo when she wanted to is sing the birthday song and eat cake! She was so cute, blowing out the candles several times before we could even sing or take photos. Haha. So we were trying to be as fast as we could, snap, snap snap! Ooh I forgot to mention! She had a meet and greet session with....Yogi bear! Remember him?? Photo to upload next time, not in my com now. =)

***Pics of her and her godpa to upload too! He and his galfriend bought her a keyboard, so cute la!

****Pity my other brother and hub's other sister and hubby couldn't be around. Well, we can always organise another bbq when you all are either back or in my in-laws' case, or when we are over to visit!
